 note = {本稿では、四年制大学人文社会系学部3年次に編入した短期大学及び専門学校出身者に対するインタビュー調査から、短期高等教育機関における教育の現状と課題について報告する。編入生のほとんどが、短期高等教育機関は大学より教育管理体制は厳密であるものの教育内容は難易度が低いと感じていた。しかしながら、短期高等教育機関においては、少人数体制ゆえに教員との距離が近く、学生に対して行き届いた配慮がなされることが多く、この点が四年制大学にはない良さであると評価していた。, This paper reports on the present state of education and issues at short-term higher education institutions based on interviews with students transferring from junior colleges or vocational schools to the third year of humanities or social science undergraduate degree programs at four-year universities. Most of the students felt that although short-term higher education institutions had stricter education management systems than universities, there was a lower degree of difficulty in terms of educational content. However, they also felt that short-term education institutions offered closer connections with instructors due to smaller class sizes as well as showed more attentive consideration for students, whereas four-year universities lacked these advantages},
